St Edward's was pleased to be able to invite the
young film maker Vicky Jewson to the School to talk to
pupils, Staff, OSE and friends about her life as a
Director and about her latest ventures.
Vicky and her Producer, Rupert Whitaker, talked about
the production of their first film - Lady Godiva
- and about some of the problems that they encountered
along the way, and how they managed to solve them.
They then talked about their latest film - Born
of War - and about issues involved in financing
such a venture.
Vicky also was able to give information about the
Jewson Film Foundation - an 8 week programme that will
allow 7 students to go through the entire process of
making a professional feature film whilst on the set of
Born of War.
