On the last weekend of term 32 shells headed out to
the Cotswolds to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh
expedition.
Exciting and exhausting were two words they used to
describe their experience as they battled against some
of the highest temperatures this year.
After a pre expedition check they were dropped off at
various locations in the Cotswolds to begin their two
day adventure.
Navigation in some areas was a challenge but the
groups eventually found their way through fields and
forests and camped together at Cranham scout camp.
They pitched tents and cooked a well earned meal
before embarking on the second day of their journey.
All five groups passed with flying colours and
felt a huge sense of achievement. Well done to all who
took part.
