Where: Darkroom on First Floor, Design Centre
The darkroom is available at all times outside the academic
timetable to pupils who have completed the introductory
course. A three-session course takes place in September
and at other times when there is sufficient demand.
In the 4th and 5th form years a weekly photography workshop
session is one of the 'Activities' options. the emphasis
is on high quality printmaking and good image
composition.
Photography is a popular choice for the 'Skills' section
of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
The darkroom is equipped with four enlargers and has good
facilities for black and white and colour printmaking.
There are six SLR cameras and a variety of tripods, lenses
and other accessories which pupils can borrow. |
