Our School lies a mile north of the centre of Oxford,
one of the world’s most important and beautiful centres
of learning and culture.
Our School is a safe and self-contained site but not at
all isolated from the outside world. Pupils from St Edward's
can leave the school and walk a couple of hundred yards
into Summertown to go to the shops. It keeps us all in
touch with the real world.
Pupils can take the bus or walk into Oxford itself to
see plays, visit art exhibitions and museums, and to make
use of the shops and cinemas. We are also well placed
for visits from leading academics and scientists based
in Oxford as well as artists, poets, actors and musicians.
